1.Locatethemanualreliefvalveontheactuatorfor
eachboom.Themanualreliefvalveisthesmaller
valveandisonlyononesideoftheactuatorbody
(Figure74).

Note:Duetotheopposingorientationofactuators
inrespecttoeachotherthemanualreliefvalveison
theforwardfaceoftheleftboomactuatorandthe
rearfaceoftherightboomactuator.
2.Useahexagonalwrenchtoloosenthemanualrelief
valvenomorethan2-3turns.Thecylindershould
startstrokingmanuallyorbyexternalpressureatthis
time.
3.Oncetheoriginalpositionoftheactuatoris
recovered,closethemanualreliefvalve.Torquethe
valveto1.1-2.1ft-lb(1.5-2.9N-m).
InspectingtheNylonPivot
Bushings
ServiceInterval:Every400hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)
1.Positionthesprayeronalevelsurface,settheparking
brake,stopthepump,stoptheengine,andremove
theignitionkey.
2.Extendtheboomstothespraypositionandsupport
theboomsusingstandsorstrapsfromalift.
3.Withtheweightoftheboomsupported,remove
theboltandnutsecuringthepivotpintotheboom
assembly(Figure75).Removethepivotpin.

thecenterframetoaccessthenylonbushings.
5.Removeandinspectthenylonbushingsfromthe
frontandbacksidesofthepivotbracket(Figure75).
Replaceanydamagedbushings.
6.Placeasmallamountofoilonthenylonbushings
andinstallthemintopivotbracket.
7.Installtheboomandpivotbracketassemblyintothe
centerframe,aligningtheopenings(Figure75).
8.Installthepivotpinandsecureitwiththeboltand
nutremovedpreviously.
Repeattheprocedureforeachboom.
