CleaningtheFlowmeter
ServiceInterval:Every400hours/Yearly(whichever
comesrst)
Occasionally,theowmetermayneedtobecleanedto
removeanobstruction.
Note:Makesurethepumpisoffwhenperforming
thisprocedure.
1.Disconnecttheowmeterwirefromwiringharness.
2.Removetheretainingcapfromtheowmeterbody
(Figure76).

3.Carefullypullthepaddlewheelassemblyfromthe
body.
4.Usewarmwater,asoft-bristledbrush,andamild
detergentasnecessarytocleantheowmeterbody
andpaddlewheel.Removeanysmallmetallicdebris.
Important:Donotusesolventsorfueltoclean
theowmeter.
5.Installthepaddlewheelassemblyintotheowmeter
body.
Important:Thepaddlewheelassemblywill
onlytintothebodyoneway,inadetentsloton
thesideofthebody.Donotforcethepaddle
wheelassemblyintothebodyinanyother
orientation.
6.Installtheretainingcap.
7.Connectthewiretotheowmeter.

ServiceInterval:Beforeeachuseordaily(moreoften
whenusingwetablepowders)
1.Removetheretainerfromtheredttingattachedto
thelargehoseonthetopofthetank.
