Installing the Chute
Parts needed for this procedure:

Chute

Hand knob (model 79413 only)
Install the Chute on Model 79410
1. If equipped, remove the discharge cover from
the deck; refer to your machine Operator ’ s
Manual .
2. Angle the metal tab at the front of the chute into
the slot in the bracket welded to the mower deck.

3. Pivot the chute back and toward the deck so
chute is ush with the mower deck ( Figure 25 ).
Note: Ensure that the retaining hook on the
chute is out of the way so the chute opening
mounts ush to the deck.
