2. Hook the exible latch on the chute to the
retaining clasp welded to the side wall of the
mower deck.

Installing the Chute on Model

1. Remove the grass deector .

2. T ilt the chute and install the pin into the hole on
the mower deck.

3. Pivot the chute back and toward the deck so the
chute is ush with the mower deck.
Note: Ensure that the retaining hook on the
chute is out of the way so the chute opening
mounts ush to the deck.
4. On the top of the chute, engage the
hook-shaped latch around the pivot rod of the
deector assembly and install the rod into the
hole on the mower deck.
