Lubrication
Both fittings on the bellcrank assembly should be
greased at least every 25 hours. Lubricate using No. 2
multipurpose lithium base grease. A hand operated
grease gun is recommended for best results.
1. Park mower on a level surface. Make sure engine
is OFF. Remove high tension lead from the spark plug.
2. Wipe each grease fitting with a clean rag.
IMPORTANT: Do not apply too much pressure or
grease seals will become permanently damaged.
3. The grease fitting locations are the clutch lever pivot
and the clutch spring end of the clutch bracket.
4. Wipe off excess grease.
