Note:Useanyhigh-qualitydetergentoil.
CheckingtheEngineOil
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,shutoffthe
engineandremovethekey.
2.Unscrewthedipstick,removeit,andwipeitwith
acleanrag.
3.Insertthedipstickintothedipsticktubeand
threaditintothetube(Figure38).

4.Unscrewthedipstick,pullitoutofthetube,and
checktheoillevel.
5.Iftheoillevelislow,removethellercapfrom
thevalvecoverandaddoilintotheengine
throughthellerneckuntiltheoillevelisupto
theFULLmarkonthedipstick.
Addtheoilslowlyandchecktheleveloften
duringthisprocess.
Important:Donotoverlltheenginewith
oil.
6.Installthellercapanddipstick.
ChangingtheEngineOilandFilter
ServiceInterval:Every100hours—Changethe
engineoilandlter.
Engineoilquantity:1.4L(1.5USqt)withlter
1.Removethedrainplug(Figure39)andletthe
oilowintoadrainpan.
