Thecuttingunitlift/dropcircuitcomeswitha
ow-controlvalve(Figure47).Thisvalveispreset
atthefactoryatapproximately3turnsopen,butyou
mayneedtoadjustittocompensatefordifferencesin
hydraulicuidtemperatures,mowingspeeds,etc.
Note:Allowthehydraulicuidtoreachfulloperating
temperaturebeforeadjustingtheow-controlvalve.
1.Locatetheow-controlvalvebelowtheseat
(Figure47).

2.Loosenthejamnutattheadjustingknobonthe
owcontrolvalve.
3.Adjusttheowcontrolvalveasfollows:
Rotatetheknobcounterclockwiseifthe
centercuttingunitisdroppingtoolateor
Rotatetheknobclockwiseifthecenter
cuttingunitisdroppingtooearly.
Note:Youshouldnotneedtorotateitmore
than1/32to1/16ofaturn.
4.Testtheadjustmentandrepeatstep3as
needed;whennished,tightenthejamnut.
AdjustingtheLiftCylinders
Toregulatetheheightofthefrontcuttingunitswhen
intheraised(transport)position,youcanadjustthe
front-liftcylinders.
1.Lowerthecuttingunitstotheground.
2.Removetheboltsthatsecurethecoverplateof
theliftcylinderthatyouareadjustingfromthe
supportbracketsofthechassis(Figure48).
