verticutting),installtheHydraulicOilCoolerKit(Part
No.104-7701)tothemachine.

Procedure
Note:Whensharpening,settingtheheightofcut,
orperformingothermaintenanceproceduresonthe
cuttingunits,storethecutting-unitreelmotorsinthe
supporttubestopreventdamagetothehoses.
Important:Donotraisethesuspensiontothe
transportpositionwhenthereelmotorsarein
theholdersinthemachineframe.Damagetothe
motorsorhosescouldresult.
1.Removethecuttingunitsfromthecartons.
Assembleandadjustthemasinstructedinthe
cuttingunitOperator'sManual.
2.Slidethecuttingunitunderthepullframewhile
hookingthelifthoopontotheliftarm.
3.Slidethesleevebackoneachballjointreceiver
andhookthereceiverontothecuttingunitball
stud(Figure10).

5.Adjustthepulllinksuntilthereis2to3mm
(1/16to1/8inch)clearancebetweenthelipof
thebasketandthereelblades.Ensurethatthe
basketlipsareequidistantfromthereelblades
allthewayacrossthereelblades.
6.Alignthesocketsintheballjointssotheopen
sideofthesocketiscenteredtowardtheball
stud.Tightenthejamnutstosecurethesockets
inposition.
7.Ensurethatthereisapproximately13mm
(1/2inch)ofthethreadsexposedoneach
reel-drive-motormountingbolt(Figure11).
