FaultDescription
Thisfaultisreportedwhenthemotorcontrollertemperatureexceeds90°C(194°F).Ifthe90°Cthreshold
isreached,thefaultisreportedandthecurrentbeingsenttothemotorislimitedonalinearbasisunlessa
temperatureof120°C(248°F)isreached.Ifeitherthemotorcontrollerorthereelmotorreach100°C,the
cuttingunitisshutoff.
Note:TheGreensmasterTriFlex3320and3420aredesignedtocutshortgrassongolf-coursegreensand
maintainedturfonfairways.WhenusingaTriFlextocutlongergrassonafairwayorintherough,thecutting
unitmotorsmayoverheatsimplybecausetheyarebeingoverworked.Beforetryingtotroubleshootthisfault,
interviewtheoperatoraboutthemowingconditionswhenthefaultoccurred.Thesourceofthefaultmaybeas
simpleasthemachinebeingusedinamanneroutsideitsdesignedpurpose.
CircuitDescription
Temperaturesensorsmonitorcomponentsinsidethereelmotortoprotectthemfromhightemperaturedamage.
Thereelmotorcontrollerreducesthecurrenttothereelmotorinresponsetotherisingtemperature,and
eventuallystopsthecuttingreelmotorifthetemperaturekeepsrising.
Note:Afaultytemperaturesensorinthecuttingreelmotordoesnotcausethisfault.
Note:Asideeffectofthisfaultisreducedreelspeedandanincreasedchanceoffault17,MotorSpeed
