Thisfaultisreportedwhencuttingunit1wasatzeroRPMformorethan3seconds.Insufcienttorqueexists
torotatethereelmotor.
Note:TheGreensmasterTriFlex3320and3420aredesignedtocutshortgrassongolf-coursegreensand
maintainedturfonfairways.WhenusingaTriFlextocutlongergrassonafairwayorintherough,thecutting
unitmotorsmayoverheatsimplybecausetheyarebeingoverworked.Beforetryingtotroubleshootthisfault,
interviewtheoperatoraboutthemowingconditionswhenthefaultoccurred.Thesourceofthefaultmaybeas
simpleasthemachinebeingusedinamanneroutsideitsdesignedpurpose.
Note:IfyourmachinereportsaFault13:HighTemperatureWarning–ReelMotor1andafault17,
troubleshootthefault13rst.Asideeffectofafault13isreducedreelspeed,whichcausesanincreased
chanceofafault17,MotorSpeedStall–ReelMotor1.
CircuitDescription
Allthreecuttingreelmotorsandthestarter/generatorarelinkedonthe48VCANbuscircuit.

Step1:Verifythatthefaultrepeats.
1.ClearthesystemfaultsfromtheInfoCenter.RefertoClearingFaultsfromtheInfoCenter(page19).
2.Operatethemachine.
