Theminimumcetaneratingshouldbe40.Purchase
fuelinquantitiesthatcanbeusedwithin180days
toensurefuelfreshness.
Important:Useofnon-ultralowsulfurfuel
causesdamagetotheengineemissionsystem.

Usesummer-gradedieselfuel(No.2-D)at
temperaturesabove-7°C(20°F)andwintergrade
(No.1-DorNo.1-D/2-Dblend)belowthat
temperature.Useofwinter-gradefuelatlower
temperaturesprovideslowerashpointandcold-ow
characteristics,whicheasesstartingandreducesfuel
lterplugging.
Useofsummer-gradefuelabove-7°C(20°F)
contributestowardlongerfuel-pumplifeandincreased
powercomparedtowinter-gradefuel.
Important:Donotusekeroseneorgasoline
insteadofdieselfuel.Failuretoobservethis
cautiondamagestheengine.
