Theheight-of-cutisadjustablefrom1to5inches(25
to127mm)in1/2inch(13mm)increments.Toadjust
theheight-of-cutonthefrontcuttingunit,positionthe
castorwheelaxlesintheupperorlowerholesofthe
castorforks,addorremoveanequalnumberofspacers
fromthecastorforks,andsecuretherearchaintothe
desiredhole.
1.Starttheengineandraisethecuttingunitssothat
theheight-of-cutcanbechanged.Stoptheengine
andremovethekeyafterthecuttingunitisraised.
2.Positionthecastorwheelaxlesinthesameholes
inallcastorforks.Refertothefollowingchartto
determinethecorrectholesforthesetting.

Note:Whenoperatingin2-1/2inch(64mm)
heightofcutorhigher,theaxleboltmustbe
installedinthelowercastorforkholetoprevent
grassbuildupbetweenthewheelandthefork.
Whenoperatinginheightofcutslowerthan2-1/2
inches(64mm)andgrassbuildupisdetected,
reversethemachinesdirectiontopullanyclippings
awayfromthewheel/forkarea.
3.Removethetensioningcapfromthespindleshaft
(Figure14)andslidethespindleoutofthecastor
arm.Putthe2shims(1/8inch[3mm])ontothe
spindleshaftastheywereoriginallyinstalled.These
shimsarerequiredtoachievealevelacrosstheentire
widthofthecuttingunits.Slidetheappropriate
numberof1/2inchspacers(refertothechart
