1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.Ensure
thatthefueltankisatleasthalffull.
2.Unlatchandraisethehood.
3.Placearagundertheair-bleedscrewonthe
fuel-injectionpumpandopenit(Figure38).

5.LeavethekeyintheONpositionuntilasolid
streamoffuelowsoutaroundthescrew.
6.TightenthescrewandturnthekeytotheOFF
position.
Note:Normally,theengineshouldstartafter
youbleedthefuelsystem.However,ifthe
enginedoesnotstart,airmaybetrapped
betweeninjectionpumpandinjectors;referto
BleedingAirfromtheInjectors(page42).
