1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface.
2.Movethemotion-controlleverstothe
NEUTRAL-LOCKpositionandstarttheengine.
Note:Runtheengineatthelowestpossible
rpmtopurgethesystemofair.
Important:DonotengagethePTO.
3.Raisethedecktoextendtheliftcylinders,shut
offtheengine,andremovethekey.
4.Raisetheseattoaccessthehydraulicuidtank.
5.Removethehydraulicllcapfromthellerneck
(Figure58).

1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
2.MovethethrottlelevertotheSLOWposition,
shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Placealargepanunderthehydraulicreservoir
andtransmissioncaseandremovetheplugs,
drainingallofthehydraulicuid(Figure59).
