1.Starttheengineandletitrun5minutes.
Note:Warmoildrainsbetter.
2.Parkthemachinesothatthedrainsideisslightly
lowerthantheoppositesidetoensuretheoil
drainscompletely.
3.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operator’sposition.
4.Placeapanbelowthedrain.Rotatetheoil-drain
valvetoallowtheoiltodrain(Figure31).
Note:Youmayslipahoseontothedrain
valvetohelpdirecttheoilow.Thehoseisnot
includedwiththemachine.
5.Whentheoilhasdrainedcompletely,closethe
drainvalve.
Note:Disposeoftheusedoilatarecycling
center.
