3. Route the cable through, slide the cable through
the slit in the holding bracket, and secure the
looped end of the cable onto the cable arm.
When the cable arm is contacting the cable
lever and the cable is taught, tighten the jam
nut on the cable.
4. Install the rubber cap, washer, and E-clip.
Note: Do not re-use E-clips, replace with new.
Adjust the cables by referring to “cable
adjustment” in this Service Information
section.
2. Insert the barrel of the cable into the holder of
the speed control assembly.
Note: The barrel has to slide through the hole
on the outside part of the holder rst to
allow the barrel to slide in fully.
