10. Remove the cam chain guide.

NOTE: Steps 1-10 in the preceding sub-section
must precede this procedure.
11. Remove the two nuts securing the right side of the
cylinder to the right-side crankcase half.

12. Lift the cylinder off the crankcase taking care not to
allow the piston to drop against the crankcase.
Account for the gasket and two alignment pins.

13. Using an awl, remove one piston-pin circlip. Take
care not to drop it into the crankcase.

14. Using a suitable piston pin puller, remove the piston
pin. Account for the opposite-side circlip. Remove
the piston.
NOTE: It is advisable to remove the opposite-side
circlip prior to using the puller.
