Theparking-brakeleverislocatedonthecontrol

Wheneveryoushutofftheengine,engagetheparking
braketopreventthemachinefromaccidentally
moving.Ifthemachineisparkedonasteepgrade,
ensurethatyouengagetheparkingbrake.
Toengagetheparkingbrake,pulltheparking-brake
levertowardyou(Figure5).

chokecontroloutward(Figure4).Aftertheengine
starts,adjustthechoketokeeptheenginerunning
smoothly.Astheenginewarmsup,pushinthechoke
controltotheOFFposition.

thegear-shiftindicator:FORWARD,REVERSE,and

Note:Theenginestartsandrunsinanyofthe3

FromtheNEUTRALposition,youcanmovethe
gear-shiftleverlefttotheFORWARDpositionorright
totheREVERSEposition(Figure7).
