1.Gentlyslidetheair-cleanerelementoutofthe
air-cleanerbody(Figure39).
Note:Avoidknockingtheaircleanerintothe
sideofthebody.
Important:Donotattempttocleanthe
air-cleanerelement.
2.Inspectthenewelementfordamagebylooking
intotheelementwhileshiningabrightlighton
theoutsideoftheelement.
Note:Holesintheelementappearasbright
spots.Inspecttheelementfortears,anoilylm,
ordamagetotherubberseal.Iftheelementis
damaged,donotuseit.
3.Carefullyslidetheelementintotheair-cleaner
body.
Important:Donotpressonthesoftinside
areaoftheelement.
4.Installtheair-cleanercoverwiththeside
indicatedasUPfacingupwardandsecurethe
latches(Figure39).
