2.5 Connecting the
Power Cord
1.
Make sure that the printer power switch is in the off position.
2.
Connect the Power Cord to the printer as shown in the figure below.
3.
Plug the other end of the Power Cord into a grounded outlet as shown
in the figure below.
CAUTION!
1. Make sure that the
printer power switch is
turned to the off position
before connecting the
power cord to prevent
possible electric shock
or damage to the printer.
2. Use only the power cord
supplied with the printer.
Use of any other cord
may cause electric
shock or fire.
3. Connect the power cord
to a three-prong outlet
only, with the third prong
being a good ground
(earth) connection.
