4.4 Memory module
Removing the Memory module
To remove the memory module, confirm that the computer is shut down. Then follow the
steps below and refer to Figure 4-5 and 4-6.
CAUTION: When removing the memory module, make sure the computer is powered off.
Removing a memory module with the power on might damage the module or
the computer itself.
Do not touch the connectors on the memory module or on the computer.
Dust and stains on the connectors may cause memory access problems.
Never press hard or bend the memory module.
1. Turn over the computer.
2. Loosen the screw fixing the memory module cover.
3. Remove the memory module cover.
