Operation of each component
■ Automatic passengers’ door (if equipped)
Observe the following precautions when the automatic passengers’ door
operation is enabled.
Failure to do so may cause death or serious injury.
● Before operating the control switch, make sure the vehicle is completely
stopped and that the parking brake is firmly applied.
● Check the safety of the surrounding area to make sure there are no obsta-
cles or anything that could cause any of your belongings to get caught.
● If the automatic passengers’ door operation is disabled using the cancel
switch while the passengers’ door is operating automatically, the auto-
matic operation is stopped and a buzzer will sound. Take extra care when
on an incline, as the passengers’ door may open or close unexpectedly.
● Do not allow passengers to enter or exit
the vehicle while the automatic passen-
gers’ door is operating.
● If anyone is in the vicinity, make sure
they are safe and let them know that the
passengers’ door is about to open or
close.
Also, do not operate the automatic pas-
sengers’ door if anyone inside or out-
side the vehicle is leaning against the
vehicle in the area around the passen-
gers’ door.
