11.6 Data Format
Data is returned to the RS232 Port by the WP-80 in the following format.
A “•” shown anywhere in this section denotes one space.
LLLLssPPPPPPuuussTTTTTTuuussdd/mm/yysshh:mm:ss
LLLL is the Log Number. Maximum 4 characters, right
justified. The WP-80 sends a Zero for instant readings
(section 11.2)
PPPPPP is pH/mV data. 6 characters, right justified.
uuu is the pH/mV unit description, which can be any of the
following…
pH•
for pH readout.
mV•
for Millivolts readout.
mVR
for Relative Millivolts readout.
TTTTTT is Temperature data, 6 characters, right justified.
uuu is the Temperature unit description, which can be either
of the following…
oC•
for real Temperature data.
oCm
for manual Temperature
compensation values.
dd/mm/yy is the date, month and year data.
hh:mm:ss is the hours, minutes and seconds data.
When requested by a PC with the ?D or ?R commands (section 11.5), the
data is terminated with a carriage return.
When the data is sent by the WP-80 using the Print function (section 9.4)
or the Send function (section 11.2) the data ends with a carriage return
and a line feed.
