General Information
Tyre Pressure Warning Light
Note:
TPMS is an accessory option on
Tiger 800 models only. It is not
available on Tiger 800XC models.
The tyre pressure warning light
works in conjunction with the
tyre pressure monitoring system
(see page 30).
The warning light will only illuminate when
the front or rear tyre pressure is below the
recommended pressure. It will not illuminate
if the tyre is over inflated.
When the warning light is illuminated, the
TPMS symbol indicating which is the deflated
tyre and its pressure will automatically be
visible in the display area.
1. T P M S s y m b o l
2. Rear tyre, identified
3. Tyre pressure
The tyre pressure at which the warning light
illuminates is temperature compensated to
20°C but the numeric pressure display
associated with it is not (see page 10 0 ). Even
if the numeric display seems at or close to the
standard tyre pressure when the warning
light is on, a low tyre pressure is indicated
and a puncture is the most likely cause.
