Replacing batteries

7 Replacing batteries
A buffer battery is installed on the back of the control
panel (Fig� 9)� The battery is designed to last approxi-
mately 8 years�
Battery type: Battery CR 2032
Remove the button plate from the frame of the con-
trol panel�
Undo the fastening screw
Remove the control panel from the installation
space, paying attention to the connected cables�
Use a pointed object, such as a small screwdriver, to
slide the battery out of the battery holder
Insert a new battery into the battery holder
In doing so, pay attention to the polarity: Positive
pole points to the front or top� See (Fig� 9)�
Replace the control panel as described in these in-
stallation instructions�

Do not dispose of used batteries along with
household waste� Used batteries must be
disposed of separately at a collection point for
recycling� This is an important contribution to environ-
mental protection�
