Assembling the drawbar
The drawbar is assembled according to the figure 3 below, which also shows how the drawbar is attached to
the machine. Note that the drawbar is always attached on the upper slots on the lower lugs. Attach the
hydraulic push bar also to its upper slot.
Hydraulic hoses and electric wires should be attached carefully to ensure that they cannot be damaged under
any circumstances when driving (e.g. when jackknifing). Always pass the hoses inside the box girder of the
shaft.

Adjust the length of the push bar so that the machine is in a horizontal position when lowered and attached to
the tractor towing hook, wheel packer or rear harrow. Ensure that the push bar cylinder is at its shortest
position when making this adjustment. Adjustment of the drawbar is made according to the actual seeding
conditions in the field.
Attaching the machine to a tractor
Nova Combi is normally attached to the tractor towing hook. It is not recommended to attach the machine to a
rear hitch attached on the tractor lower links, because that would make the tractor front too light and reduce
steerability.
The hydraulic system of Nova Combi is connected to a hydraulic output intended for external single function
cylinders on the tractor. If the machine is equipped with markers (available as accessory), they are operated
by the same hydraulic valve as lifting and lowering the machine. In this case, however, the machine must be
