TROUBLESHOOTING

Although Tuthill Vacuum & Blower Systems blowers are well designed and manufactured, problems may occur
due to normal wear and the need for readjustment. The following chart lists symptoms that may occur along
with probable causes and remedies.
SYMPTOM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDIES
Seals leaking
Seal incorrectly

Reinstall seal.
Seal worn or damaged Replace seal.
Reduced capacity
Rotational speed too

Check supply voltage.
Vacuum leak Locate and repair.
High sealant
temperature

exchanger cleanliness.
Incorrect sealant À ow
rate

Excessive noise
Defective bearing Replace.
Too much sealant
