TVS King GS+ - Air Filter Cleaning and Replacement

SELF MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE
- Connect adjuster to stopper gear cable at engine end.
- Connect pulley to handle bar end and insert sleeve in to
handle bar
- Lock the pulley with clip
- Adjust cable free play by loosening lock nut and turning
adjuster nut in or out.
Air filter cleaning
- Open the rear tail door.
- Refit cover handle bar and tighten screws.
- Loosen the three lock clip provided o the cover air filter,
and take out the cover air filter.
- Take out the paper filter cartridge.
- Connect the pulley to shaft gear shifter and tighten nut.
Removal
- Clean the Outer Surface of the air filter throughly.
- Blow the compressed air from inside out of the filter
element to free the filter from dust particle.
- Replace the Paper filter element every 40000 kms. or
found damaged for better performance of the vehicle
and engine life.
- Re-assemble the air filter element in the reverse order of
removal.
- Clean the cover air filter and case air filter.

Every 5000 kms
Every 40000 kms
While assembling the cover air filter locate the grove of
cover air filter properly
