TVS King GS+ - Basic Trouble Shooting; Engine Does Not Start

1 No fuel flow to carburetor No fuel in fuel tank Fill fuel
2.Touch the side electrode of the spark plug to
connect the suppressor cap.
BASIC TROUBLE SHOOTING.....
ENGINE DOES NOT START
STEP REASON CAUSE COUNTER MEASURE
Clogged fuel filter/fuel cock Clean (refer note)
2 No fuel flow from carburetor to engine Blocked jets Clean the carburetor (refer note)
3 Ignition system No current flow to spark plug Make sure the ignition switch is ON' position
and the suppressor cap is connected.
If problem persists try spark test:
1.Remove the spark plug from the engine and
3.Look for blue sparking between electrodes
If no sparking
Inspect for loose contacts at wire terminals.
Defective spark plug Replace

Defective TCI unit Replace (refer note) - Page No.65
Defective battery/magneto/pulsar coil Replace (Refer note) - Page No.65

Dirty/excess gap spark plug Clean and adjust gap (Refer page no 30) . .
by hand starting or by electric start
