UPDATING VIA USB STICK
Visit support.ultimaker.com to download the latest rmware.
Once you have downloaded the newest rmware version, transfer it to a USB drive. Please ensure that the rmware le is
not inside another folder on your USB stick, or else the printer will not be able to select it.
Insert your USB drive into the USB port to the right of the power button. Use the touch screen to click “Update Now” to
proceed to the next step. Select the le for the rmware that you downloaded and installed on your USB drive. Your
UltiMaker Method XL should begin downloading and installing the selected rmware. Once the rmware has been
successfully updated, you will be all set to continue the setup process for your UltiMaker Method XL. Select “Continue
Setup”, followed by “Begin Setup” on the next screen.
Follow the on-screen instructions to finish setting up your printer.
