6.3 Completing installation
6.3.1 Checking the electrical installation
▶ Following installation, check the electrical installation to
ensure that all connections are fitted properly and are
sufficiently insulated.
6.3.2 Installing the front casing
1. Fit the front casing from the front up to the stop.
2. Make sure that no cables are pinched or in contact with
hot components and that the solar control is locked in
place in the opening.
3. Secure the front casing with the bolt.
4. Fit the panel.
6.4 Installing the expansion module
To install the expansion module, the storage tank of the ba-
sic module must be connected with the storage tank of the
expansion module, and the second solar pump must be
installed. To connect the two storage tanks, the controller
bracket and the storage tank of the basic module must first
be removed.
▶ When you need to work on the basic module and the
expansion module, this work can be made easier if the
modules are on the floor.
▶ Carry out the work steps in this section one after the
other and in the exact sequence that is described here.
6.4.1 Removing the controller bracket
Preliminary work
▶ Remove the front casing. (→ Page 11)
1. Pull the controller bracket (1) forwards.
2. Tilt the controller bracket to the side.
6.4.2 Removing the storage tank
1. Undo the two cap nuts (1, 4).
2. Undo the two bolts (2).
3. Remove the storage tank (3).
6.4.3 Installing the connection pipes on the
storage tank of the basic module
1. Remove the sealing caps of the adaptor.
2. Install the connection pipes with flat seals on the ad-
aptors in the storage tank of the basic module.
3. Remove the front casing of the expansion module (see
front casing (→ Page 11)).
