4.4 Reinstalling the TC Head

Replace the access cover.

Close the sample chamber.

Turn on the power. Allow the instrument to complete the initial-
ization sequence and reach thermal equilibrium (see Section
4.5) before attempting to calibrate the osmometer.

Calibrate using the 290, 1000, and then 100 mmol/kg stan-
dards. After calibrating using the 100 mmol/kg standard, select
CLEAN TEST and then press ENTER.

If the Clean Test reveals contamination, refer to Section 4.6 and
(if necessary) Section 5.1.
