Setup Instructions for the Seiko Serial Printer DPU-H245

Charge the printer batteries per manufacturer’s instructions.

Turn the power ON while holding the FEED and CHARGE buttons down.

Using the FEED button for YES and the CHARGE button for NO, follow the prompts to
change the printer settings as follows:
COMMAND MODE = MODE A
CHARACTER SET = GRAPHICS
SERIAL SETTINGS:
BIT LENGTH = 8BIT
PARITY = NON
FLOW CONTROL = RTS?CTS
BAUD RATE = 1200 bps

Connect the data cable from the Vapro to the printer.

The READY prompt and all measurement results will now be printed as they are dis-
played on the Vapro display.
