USING NETWORK SETTINGS
For additional information about blocking websites, refer
to Chapter 6 Setting Parental Controls.
Block Internet ServicesBlock Internet Services - Internet services blocking
prevents a device on your network from accessing
specific services, such as receiving email or downloading
files from FTP sites. Block Internet services by locating
the device, then clicking Block Internet Services. The
Access Control page displays. For additional information
on blocking internet services, refer to the Access Control
section in Chapter 7 Configuring Security Settings.
Port ForwardingPort Forwarding - Port Forwarding allows your network
to be exposed to the internet in specific limited and
controlled ways. For example, you could allow specific
applications, such as video conferencing, voice, and chat,
to access servers in the local network. To access the
Port Forwarding page, click Port Forwarding.
For additional information, refer to the Port Forwarding
section in Chapter 7 Configuring Security Settings.
View Device DetailsView Device Details - Click View Device Details to display
the Device Information page and view the selected
devices information, such as IP Address, MAC address,
Network Connection, Lease Type, Port Forwarding
Services, as well as the Ping TestPing Test option.
Rename this DeviceRename this Device - To change the name of a specific
device, click Rename this Device. The Rename Device
page displays. If desired, enter the new device name and/
or select a dierent icon. Click ApplyApply to save changes.
The Network status page will open with the new name
and icon displayed.
