End Loading
Models 2158, 2160, and 2162 may be loaded up to 100% of the
platform's full rated capacity or two times the individual load cell rating
(whichever is less) across any end of the scale.
Platform Assembly
Vertex scales utilize a single channel reinforced platform design with
removable plate to access the junction box assembly. Standard mild steel
units have a safety tread plate deck surface. Stainless steel scales utilize
a platform structure very similar to the mild steel unit. Standard
stainless steel units have a smooth deck surface with a glass bead blast
finish. Threaded holes are provided in all platform structures for lifting
eyebolts to ease platform installation and removal.
