SEND & RETRIEVE MESSAGES
Responding to a Station Message Waiting Indication
Another station can leave a Station Message Waiting indication (MWI) when you do not answer
or your phone is in DND mode. The message icon will be displayed on the LCD screen in
IP-8024. If programmed, a flashing MSG LED on the MBX IP Phone also will indicate when
there is a Message Waiting. As a further notification, a Message Wait Reminder Tone can be
provided. You may review and delete messages as well as respond with a call back.
To review your Station messages:
1. Press the MSG button, the LCD shows the Message Summary display:
2. Dial 1 to view Station messages,
3. Press the navigation up/down button to scroll through the messages.
To return a call from the list of Intercom (MWI):
1. Press the navigation up/down buttons to scroll through the Intercom messages,
2. Press the OK Soft button to select and place the return call.
To delete a Station MWI:
1. Press the navigation up/down buttons to scroll through the Station messages,
2. Press the Delete Soft button to select,
3. Dial 1 (Delete MWI).
To delete all Station MWIs:
1. Press the Delete Soft button,
2. Press 3 (Delete All MWIs).
