2.7. Installation and footprint
The overall external dimensions of the UPS are listed on the final data table.
There are no restrictions on where you can position the UPS. The rear of the machine can be
positioned against a wall. On machines with connecting cables at the rear, allow room for the
curvature of the cables. Do not crush the cables against the wall. Perform maintenance operations
from the front and from the top.
The floor on which the UPS will be installed must be level, flat and suitable for electrical equipment.
The load-bearing capacity of the floor must be sufficient to support the weight of the UPS - the UPS
footprints are illustrated in Fig. 6, Fig. 9, Fig. 12 and Fig. 16, the weight may be found on the Data
Tables in chap. 9. on page 102.
