Removing the air filter (03_07, 03_08)
Remove the side fairing unscrewing the 2 screws marked A. Remove the air cleaner
cap «D» after having unscrewed the 5 fixing screws «C», then remove the filtering
element. Clean with water and shampoo, afterwards dry with compressed air and
submerge in a recommended oil and petrol mixture in ratio of 50%. Afterwards
squeeze it, leave it to dry and mount it again.
CAUTION
IN CASE OF RIDING ON DUSTY ROADS IT IS ADVISABLE TO CLEAN THE AIR
FILTER MORE FREQUENTLY THAN INDICATED IN THE RELEVANT CHAPTER
ON SCHEDULED MAINTENANCE.
