6 Maintenance
Draining of water from the water separator/fuel lter
Every 100 operating hours.
11 Bleeding
After the water separator/fuel lter has been
drained, the air has to be bled from the fuel
system
The fuel system is self-bleeding; but manual
bleeding the system is recommended.
• Open the two bleeding nipples.
- One (1) bleeding nipple is located at the
lter.
- A second bleeding nipple is located at the
fuel injection pump.
• Prime the fuel system by pumping the fuel
pump.
• Close the bleeding nipples when all air has
escaped.
N.B. It is necessary to operate the lever over
the full stroke for proper operation.
