Cleaning the heat exchanger
57 Remove the drain plug
• Close the seacock and detach the water in-
let hose from the sea water pump.
• Drain the coolant: To do this, remove the
drain plug from the heat exchanger hous-
ing.
• Remove the ller cap from the top of the
heat exchanger housing to allow air into
the system and check that all coolant has
drained o.
58 Removal of bolts out of the end covers
• Take out both central bolts from the end
covers and take the end covers with the O-
rings out of the housing.
