Tractor
requirements
Tractor weight and size
The tractor must have a proper weight. Local regulations governing
this relationship must be observed.
The correct proportions between tractor and machine secure proper
braking functions and manoeuvrability.
An incorrect ratio between tractor and machine can be dangerous.
Front lift device
The tractor must be equipped with a front lift device designed for a
three-point hitch.
The front lift device must comply with the following standard:
• DS/ISO 8759/2.
If the front lift device does not comply with this standard, there is a risk
that the machine cannot be coupled.
The three-point hitch on the front lift device must be fitted with an A-
frame which complies with the following standard:
• DS 6044.
The A-frame may be supplied with category 2 fasteners.
NB
The A-frame is not supplied with new machines.
