Replacement
Safety concerning maintenance work with the transmission
When working on the transmission the tractor must be stopped and
secured.
This prevents the machine from suddenly starting to rotate.
If the tractor and the PTO shaft have not been connected according to
the instructions serious accidents resulting in torn off limbs can occur.
When working on the transmission:
The tractor engine must be stopped.
The ignition key must be removed.
The PTO shaft must be disconnected.
The tractor hydraulic system should be disconnected.
The hand brake should be activated.
Cutterbar
Pay attention when performing oil change
Use protective cream or protection gloves when changing oil.
It will protect your hands against skin injuries.
Direct contact with the oil could lead to serious skin injuries.
Use the correct oil type
Always use the correct oil type for the transmission.
This ensures a long lifetime for the transmission.
Use of incorrect oil type may lead to damage of the transmission.
Maintain correct oil level
Max. and min. indication for oil level on the transmission must not be
exceeded.
Correct oil level of the transmission ensures a long lifetime.
Wrong oil levels can cause heat development in the transmission,
resulting in serious damage.
Changing the oil
After 10 working hours
Thereafter, every 200 hours
of use
or once a year
Oil change for the cutterbar is done as follows:

The machine must be fitted on the tractor.
> Place the machine on a level surface.
> Activate the tractor's front lift device and raise the machine
completely free of the ground.
> Lock the tractor's lift arms with a chain.

It is important that the machine is correctly secured with a sturdy
support before work is started.

> Place the tractor's rear right wheel up on a wooden block or similar,
so that the machine tilts slightly to the left.
