Changing the roller
pressure

The setting for the springs must be exactly the same on both sides of
the machine.
The roller pressure is adjusted in the following way:
Left-hand side:
> Use the appropriate tools to loosen the counter nut shown, which
is located close to the springs.
> Position a tool on the tightening surface of the spring.
> Position a tool on the tightening surface of the spindle.
> Use the tool to turn the spindle.
• Turning the spindles in a clockwise direction increases the
pressure of the rollers on the crop.
• Turning the spindles in an anticlockwise direction reduces the
pressure of the rollers on the crop.

It is recommended that the springs be adjusted approximately 5 mm
at a time, after which the pressure of the rollers on the crops should
be tested.
> Tighten and secure the counter nut on the spring after the final
adjustment.
