Deflector plates
The machine is fitted with 2 deflector plates:
When the deflector plates are used, the crop is collected into a
compact swath.
The deflector plates can also be removed from the machine, so the
crop is spread out across the whole breadth of the machine.

The cutting swath should be as wide and even as possible.

The deflector plate is adjusted as follows:
> Use a suitable tool and remove the ring nut and bolt.
> Move the deflector plate to the desired position.
> Fit the nut and bolt and fasten them.
The deflector plates can also be removed from the machine, so the

The deflector plates are equipped with extension pieces which can be
adjusted to several positions. Using these extension pieces will
produce a particularly compact swath.
> Use a suitable tool and remove the nut and bolt.
> Move the extension piece to the desired position.
> Fit the nut and bolt and fasten them.
NB
On tractors with large front wheels and short lift arms on the front lift,
users must be particularly aware of the danger of the wheel coming
into contact with the deflector plates when the front wheel is turning,
for example when turning at the headland. This can damage or deform
the deflector plates.
