The V-belts on the rotor must be regularly checked.
The V-belts for the rotor transmission are checked as follows:
Activate the tractor hydraulics and lower the cutting unit of the
machine.
Dismantle the guard.
Use a tape measure or similar to measure the springs as shown.
The springs are tightened with a bolt to the measurement shown.
A new machine or a newly fitted V-belt shall be checked after a few
hours use.
