1. Remove 3 split pins.
2. Open inspection cover and remove.
3. Clean the combustion chamber and heating surfa-
ces.

For normal cleaning, flush the heating surfaces
thoroughly with a jet of water.
■
For stubborn residues, surface stains or soot
deposits, cleaning agents can be used.
For this, observe the following information.
Note
–
Only use solvent-free cleaning agents. Ensure
that no cleaning agent gets between the boiler
body and the thermal insulation.
–
Remove soot deposits with alkaline cleaning
agents with surfactant additive.
–
Remove coatings and surface discolouration
(yellow-brown) with slightly acidic, chloride-free
cleaning agents based on phosphoric acid.
4. Remove loosened deposits from the boiler. Flush
the heating surfaces thoroughly with a jet of water.

5. Assemble in reverse order:
Check gasket for possible damage and replace if
required. Before installation, wet the gasket with
suitable lubricating paste (e.g. chloride-free lubri-
cating paste, part no. 7568157).
Position the inspection cover. Insert the split pins.
Danger
Leaks can result in poisoning through escap-
ing flue gas.
Check correct seating of seal ring and
inspection cover.

■
All hoses or pipes running between these parts
Note
Clean the inside of the condensate drain system at
least annually.
