3. Disconnect plug "X3" from the control unit.

4. Measure the resistance of the outside temperature
sensor across terminals "X3.1" and "X3.2" on the
disconnected plug. Compare with the curve.
5. If the results are very different from the curve, dis-
connect the wires from the sensor. Repeat the test
directly on the sensor.
6. Depending on the result, replace the lead or the
outside temperature sensor.
