8. FocalPoint Camera Control
8.1. Introduction
The InCam-HG transmitter is fully interoperable with the Vislink FocalPoint
system via the internal Data Receiver module. You can configure the Data
Receiver via the InCam Transmitter menu.
NOTE: You need a valid license to access the Camera Control items.
8.2. FocalPoint Camera Control Overview
The FocalPoint Camera Control system offers control to various camera
manufactures and models using one-way data with the Vislink OCP5 and
one-way or return data using various Manufacturer controllers:
• Sony
• Hitachi
• Ikegami
• Grass Valley – Multiplex
• Grass Valley – Transparent/Generic
• Panasonic ENG, 4K & PTZ
• Ikegami
NOTE: Refer to the FocalPoint manual for full product information and
safety awareness.
8.2.1. Camera Configuration
Camera Menu:
• Configuration> Serial Control> RSxx2 Select> RS232
8.2.2. Grass Valley VS Generic/Transparent mode
8.2.2.1. Grass Valley mode
Grass Valley mode activates control of the Grass Valley camera using the
GV Serial Basic protocol. The Serial Basic protocol has less functionality
than the Serial Full protocol but allows the FocalPoint to multiplex
controllers and cameras over one UHF frequency,

Return Data configured,
Use Return Data where possible to optimize operation.
