3. Select one of the following recovery strategies:
Never
Auto: return to primary channel when it recovers
End of stream: when failover channel is lost, return to the primary one
Timed: after X hour/minutes, the decoder returns to the primary channel
To select a service based on a Service Description Table:
MGW Ace Decoder OG supports both SPTS and MPTS streams from DVB-ASI or IP. The
appliance provides the capability to display and select a stream based on SDT information.
1. Select the channel input: DVB-ASI or Ethernet 1/2
2. Select the streaming protocol if applicable: a TS input stream is required (Pro-
MPEG/SRT/Zixi/UDP TS/RTP TS).
3. Select the Service selection mode:
If Auto is selected (default mode), the first found program will be used.
If Program Name is selected then it is possible to select the default Service which
will be used by clicking the Select Service button.
The “Service Description Table” window opens and details the available programs.
If Fixed PID is selected, then it is possible to select the PID which will be used. PIDs
can be entered manually.
4. Click Select Service to access the list of programs detected
5. Select the desired program.
