For SRT Listener (push) channel:
Parameter Description
Channel
Name
(Optional)
Enter a Channel Name to differentiate channels within the Channel list.
Channel name is optional.
Ethernet
Port
Select the Ethernet Port from which the channel is received.
Streaming
Protocol
Select SRT Listener.
Port Type the Channel port.
Stream
Name
Type the stream name.
Latency Type the SRT latency to be used. The latency used will be the higher value
set in the encoder and decoder interface. The latency used must be
minimally 3 times the RTT time indicated in the SRT Statistics window.
Additional latency shall be added based on link packet loss percentage.
FEC Select the FECsupport.
NOTE: SRT point-to-point streaming with MGW Ace Encoder
To start using point-to-point SRT streaming between MGW Ace Decoder OG and MGW Ace Encoder:
 Verifythat MGW Ace Encoder and Ace Decoder OG can communicate (the gateways are properlyconfigured).
 Set SRT Caller mode on MGW Ace Encoder
 Set SRT Listener mode on MGW Ace Decoder OG.
 Set the MGW Ace Encoder Target Address byentering MGW Ace Decoder OG card IP address (SRT is unicast
address only).
 Set the same target port on both MGW Ace Decoder OG and MGW Ace Encoder.
 Start the MGW Ace Decoder OG by clicking Play.
For SRT Rendezvous channel:
SRT Rendezvous allows encoder and decoder to bypassing firewall without the need for IT
administrator to configure firewall rules.
